My work often comes from an impulse, without a concept. Even when I start with an idea, all possibilities are open and the work can take a totally different direction.
I paint using all mediums. My aim is to get emotion and energy into a final piece.
I am particularly drawn to the spontaneous nature of children’s drawings and paintings and keep this in mind when working.
